The short version
We collect only what we need to pursue your claim: name, contact details, lender, and agreement information. We share it with your lender and the Financial Ombudsman Service when it's time. We never sell it. You can ask us to delete everything at any point.
1Who we are
PCP Hero Ltd ("we", "us") is a Claims Management Company registered in England & Wales (company no. 00000000) with its registered office at 1 Example Street, Manchester M1 1AA. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 000000) for regulated claims management activities, and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ZA000000) as a data controller.
2What we collect
From you: name, contact details, date of birth, address history for the last six years, and details of your car finance agreement.
From your lender: the original agreement, commission disclosures, statements, and correspondence. We only request this after you've signed a Letter of Authority.
3Why we collect it
To assess whether you have a valid complaint of hidden commission or mis-selling, to pursue that complaint on your behalf with the lender, and if necessary to escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
5How long we keep it
Six years after your claim concludes, in line with FCA record-keeping requirements. After that we securely destroy it.
6Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict processing, or withdraw consent — at any time. Email our DPO below and we'll respond within 30 days.
